I'm Shawn Hinzey, an Electrical Engineering Technologist at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

In 2015, I began as a digitally specialized Electrical Engineering student-intern in data science, machine-learning, and technology transfer/development; Serving firstly in the DOE's Forrestal National HQ in Washington, D.C. Currently I am based in New Mexico, serving as staff in the Intelligence Space Research Division's Space Instrumentation Realization Group, where I've been focusing on the integration and testing of space-based nuclear detonation detection instrumentation since 2018.

Beyond my work at the lab, I founded Smith & Tinker LLC, a boutique computer engineering firm that specializes in delivering high-quality machine learning solutions, automation systems, and data science products and services.
